As of late, I have been dividing my time between back pain and letterpress printing. The two phenomena are intricately tied in my experience. Despite the pain and the threat of overdosing on Tylenol, I managed to churn out some wedding invitations that I’m rather smitten with. Of course, it did help that I was given free range by my client – a friend and former grad student at the U of M. My goal was to make a simple, elegant, clean, minimal, and most importantly friendly wedding invitation. My client wanted the package divided into three distinct parts: the wedding invitation, the information/details, and a fine art print that could be retained by the invited guests.
