Contemporary societies are are strongly linked to developments on the global scale which have profound influence on personal actions. Our concept of individuality is rooted in the transformation of societal, cultural, technologic, and economic processes and structures. Through my work, I am dedicated to exploring these structures that arise out of the practices of everyday life. I engage and subvert these boundaries through conceptually oriented and interdisciplinary projects involving ideas of personal identity, individual representation, and the residue human presence.

I utilize both printmaking and photography in a process that ties performative gestures with traditional techniques. In previous works I have emphasized the conceptual representation of individuality. In Stolen Identity Project I traveled to sites within the countries of Macedonia and Bulgaria where usage of my bank account occurred. I documented through photography the places and transactions that resulted from my stolen identity. Also, I explored the intersection of public and private life by creating a series of intimate photogravure portraits of desperate men culled from dating video tapes in Cupid Connection and by capturing the objects left behind by users of public spaces in the Evidence series of photographs.
